Frequently Asked Questions

How do you choose the brands and products you partner with?+

The brands and products we choose are considered based on our 3 core brand values:

.

Eco-Responsible

Brands that show a sense of eco-responsibility and respect for our natural environment.

.

Mama-Approved

Brands and products that are tested and pre-approved by fellow Mothers.

.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Safe

Products that are safe to use while Pregnant and/or Breastfeeding (because sometimes it’s hard to know what food/products are safe and what to look out for).

I’d love you to stock our products in your store, how can I get you to consider my brand?+

We’re so excited that you would consider us to represent you and your brand - many thanks and biggest hugs! We would love to consider your brand and products. First step is to reach out to us and introduce yourself and your brand.

.

Here are some details that would be most helpful for us to know:

.

Your name

.

Brand name

.

The products you think would be a good fit for the Love In The Moonlight community.

.

Any website links or social media handles that you can share would also be great as we can take a look and do our due diligence.

.

Share a bit about your brand ethos, we especially want to know how you contribute in a positive way to our environment.

.

Are your products verified as pregnancy and breastfeeding safe (where applicable)? Needless to say, it’s a deal-breaker.

.

Where are you/your business located? We prefer to stock from Australian brands, to support our local small business owners. But it is of the utmost importance to us that our products are the best for the well-being of our mamas, regardless of where they come from - you will notice a few friendly New Zealand brands sprinkled into our product mix.

.

Where are your products made? We are most interested in the ethics and environmental impacts of your manufacturing and production processes, so any helpful details that you can share that are related to this would be most helpful.

.

We are passionate about creating a happy, reliable and useful corner of the internet for the mamas in our village. So researching and refining our selection of products is important to us. Please be patient as we do our due diligence and we will reply to you as soon as we can.

My order hasn’t arrived yet, can you help me?+

Still don’t see us in your mailbox? Don’t worry! We’re here to help.

.

If you’ve waited longer than the anticipated delivery timeline listed for your order, please contact us straight away, including your name and order number.

.

We’ll personally follow up with the postal service to see where your order is hiding out. Please note: if an item has been lost in transit, replacement items will be dispatched at our discretion.

How have you made your unboxing experience environmentally conscious without removing from the experience?+

We want to make sure the recipients of our parcels are made to feel special and important, and as such, we have worked hard to find a balance between a magical unboxing experience whilst keeping to our brand ethos of being environmentally conscious. So we have done copious amounts of research and chosen our suppliers and delivery partners based on their environmental and sustainability credentials.

.

Gift Boxes & Extra Packaging

We have deliberated long and hard over whether we provide a “gift box” for our gift sets, which we would then deliver in either an eco-mailer bag or another delivery box that would keep the gift box from becoming damaged or tarnished. We decided that, in order to stay true to our brand ethos of being environmentally conscious and proactively doing all that we can to be as sustainable as possible, we will not be packaging our gifts in a separate  eco-mailer bag or gift box.

.

We have faith that our customers will share our brand ethos and mission to minimise the impact we have on our environment. To us, the unboxing experience is all the more special, precisely for this reason xx

Are you able to share the details of your delivery suppliers and partners for sustainability transparency?+

Love In The Moonlight believes that it is only through transparency that we can hold businesses accountable on their environmental promises, so we have provided the full run-down on our current supplier mix for our unboxing and delivery experience below.

We are always looking to improve and reduce our impact on the environment, and as such, we will update this information promptly if our packaging and delivery partners ever change.
